Last spring, it became obvious that the fading (at least as far as the field of music instruments is concerned) Musikmesse fair would have a competitor in the Musicpark. The first edition of the latter event took place between the 1st and the 3rd of November this year at the fairgrounds in Leipzig, Germany. Initiatives such as this should be supported as our continent could certainly use a fair event of international caliber. Since the Musikmesse Frankfurt has been on the wane for some time now (beatit.tv has already written about it https://en.beatit.tv/frankfurt-musikmesse-2019/), there is a need for a trade show which will integrate the music business in Europe and compete with corresponding events in the US and China. The organizers in Leipzig have not reached that goal yet, however, there is hope that Musicpark will grow and become the music fair Musikmesse used to be years ago.
One of the significant players in the market that decided to be present at Musicpark Leipzig 2019 was Sennheiser. Here is what they presented to us…
“Welcome to the Sennheiser booth.
At this trade show, we have got some very interesting new stuff at our booth.
This is the Evolution Wireless G4. Really sturdy. This is rock solid equipment for your stage performances with a really great sound. We recommend it for professional musicians, singer/songwriters to go for this piece of equipment.
If you’re a beginner, we can go to the other side.
There’s the XSW-D. This is a 2.4 GHz entry level microphone. Really great to start with no cables to deal with in a rehearsal room or on a small stage.
Here is an analog system – the XSW, where W stands for wireless.
It’s an entry level system with at a really good price and a great sound.”
